July 4th Pancake Breakfast

Posted on Jun 14 2022 - 12:46pm

The 4th of July is coming and so is the annual Lions Club 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. For many many years Steamboat Scouts have been assisting the Lions Club in putting on this awesome community event. Not only is this a great opportunity for Scouts to serve our community but it is also a chance for the Cub Scouts to earn money for the Pack. The breakfast will be moving back to Little Toots Park this year. We encourage adults to join their Scouts in helping out. Adult hours will count alongside Scout hours towards earning for the Pack. The cleanup shift will count for double hours for Scout and adult as this shift is the most fun and rewarding. We ask that all Scouts and Leaders wear full Class A uniforms for the two shifts during the breakfast.

Please go to the following link to sign up.

Year Wrap-up and Summer Plans

Posted on Jun 8 2022 - 3:51pm

With the end of the school year comes the end of our regular Scouting schedule. All parents should check their progress in Scout Book to make sure that their accomplishments are recorded. Please work on your own to fill in any requirements you may have missed, and notify your Den Leader so they can approve them. We hope to be able to have some Summer activities, so keep an eye out for emails about upcoming Planning Meetings! If you have any suggestions for opportunities for summer activities, please reach out! Have a great summer!
